How we can work together

Evidence-informed, relational therapy for trauma, adult ADHD, and related difficulties — including paced, effective EMDR where it fits — available online by secure video across the UK.

Sessions are collaborative. After an initial conversation we agree an approach that fits your goals, history and capacity. I also draw on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills where they support emotion regulation, self-criticism, or distress tolerance.

The shape of the work

What a course of therapy can look like

Most people begin with an enquiry and a first session to sense whether we are a fit. From there we agree a focus — for example trauma processing with EMDR, a time-limited DIT course, or longer integrative psychotherapy — and review together as the work unfolds. The pace stays careful: settling and safety come before deeper processing, and you are never rushed into material you are not ready for.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing is an evidence-based approach for trauma, PTSD and distressing memories that continue to intrude or shape present-day reactions. As an EMDR Europe-accredited practitioner, I help you process stuck experiences safely and at a manageable pace — so the work can be carefully paced and effective.

Helps most: Often most helpful when trauma memories keep looping or the body stays on high alert.

Integrative psychotherapy

Longer-term or flexible therapy drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and narrative ideas. Useful when difficulties are intertwined with identity, relationships, meaning, or patterns that have developed over years.

Helps most: A good fit when you want space to explore deeper patterns, not only a single incident.

Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT)

A focused, time-limited model that explores how recurring relationship patterns connect with depression and anxiety. DIT can be a good fit when interpersonal themes are central and a structured course of work feels right.

Helps most: Suited to low mood or anxiety closely tied to repeating relationship themes.

Trauma & PTSD therapy (including 90-minute sessions)

Trauma-focused psychological therapy for adults — including EMDR and a single extended session when you need intensive help with a specific experience, or want to assess whether a longer course would be useful. Based in Enfield and London; online by video across the UK.

Helps most: Helpful for trauma and PTSD, including when one focused session feels right before deciding on ongoing therapy.
